Heavenly Growth: safe, slow and smoky shifts toward self-preservation

“I know what it’s like to feel all alone in this cold, dark world. To feel as though no one gets it or you. To be the black sheep; the odd one out the bunch.”

My new friend Briare is the epitome of authentic expression. Her signature tagline, “girl smoke that j and …” builds a sense of belonging; where judgment is left outside the door, and no stone(er) is left unturned when it comes to pouring into yourself.

Heavenly Growth is a space for spiritualists and creatives to break out of cycles of burnout, disrepair, and extremes and embrace their true destiny: one of flow, ease, luxury, and self-assuredness.

Briare founded Heavenly Growth after the birth of her son, when the realities of postpartum depression and new motherhood hit hard. After a traumatic birth and the absence of familial support, her mental state began to unravel.

It wasn’t until she started turning inward, using the tools already in her spiritual stash, that she began to see light at the end of the tunnel.

She created systems for herself - some might call them spiritual, others life-saving - and felt a shift. Not a miracle, but a spark of inner strength no antidepressant could replicate.

In addition to yoga, she implemented the HAL T system; a tool for recognizing that her basic needs directly affect her mental and spiritual state. Armed with this knowledge, and a bowl or two, she was able to take better care of herself, and thus better care of others.

Hungry. Angry. Lonely. Tired.
“I went through all of those,” she says, “and I made a plan for the day to just focus on that. By the end of the day, I believed I was good enough for the first time - unprovoked.”

That single moment became the seed for Heavenly Growth. From there, she began teaching the HAL T method to others, blending it with the tools that helped her heal: yoga, breathwork, and intentional cannabis use.

“My mood was more stable. I was less irritable. I was more present. It was those small changes in my morning that made all the difference. . .I think when one approaches cannabis with intention and awareness of where they're at emotionally, mentally, or just holistically, then it can be a great tool in getting yourself to the next step.”

For Briare, intentional cannabis use became a bridge back to her body. She describes it as a way to quiet the noise, slow her breath, and really listen to what she needs. Not an escape, but an entry point to awareness.

While Briare found her footing again, she knows that not everyone can do that alone. Her work provides essential support for those who feel isolated, abandoned, or overwhelmed by the weight of simply being human. That’s why her coaching doesn’t preach a “change your life overnight” mentality - it’s a slow, sacred process of coming home to your own power and magic.

Her audio course, Come Home To You, helps you do just that. It gently guides you back into your body and into awareness, identifying what’s really going on beneath the surface. It feels like meditation - soft, grounding, forgiving - but it’s also deeply practical, making it easy to integrate into everyday life (no dreaded to-do’s added).

The importance of this work cannot be overstated: whether you’re a parent, business owner, or soft-hearted creative, we all need the reminder to slow down, listen inward, and care for the vessel that carries us.

Because here’s the truth: feeding your body, mind, heart, and soul feeds your business.

It’s not about burning the midnight oil (unless, of course, you’re sparking something green). Many of us left the corporate grind because we were tired of being treated like machines, so why do it to ourselves? That’s why Briare’s work is essential: she’s showing us that aligned success doesn’t come from force. It comes from flow. When the world urges you to hustle harder, Briare’s coaching teaches you how to stop and smell the flower. (ehhh?)

I chose Heavenly Growth as my first “Biz of the Szn” feature because Briare embodies the evolution so many of us crave: success without self-abandonment. Her business isn’t just profitable - it’s peaceful.

And her growth reflects that. Guest speaker on multiple podcasts, the launch of her audio course, and a growing digital presence (hello, 1k on Threads!) - all while staying rooted in authenticity and rest. She also shares sparks of wisdom on her Substack.

For the budding business owners and soft creators out there, Briare offers this advice:

“I got there by consistently showing up — even when it felt pointless — and by following my intuition.”

She also reminds us that we don’t need outside approval to validate our path. She also reminds us that we don’t need outside approval to validate our path. “I want [my clients] to go from feeling overwhelmed and unsure and [feeling] incapable of achieving things, and seeking that safety and validation in others to being able to find that within themselves. I want them to be confident and feel comfortable in holding their boundaries”

That’s the magic of Heavenly Growth! It’s about coming home to yourself, not the version of you that gets likes or applause, but the one that already knows she’s enough. We give so much of our power away when we string ourselves up to standards that are not our own, and it’s in those boundaries and inner trust that we take that power back.

So remember: burn some green, not yourself. Rest is productive, and your peace is your power.

“I want you to know you’re not alone, and I’m here to show you that the world can be a beautiful place. That you, too, can reclaim your joy, peace, and power. Let’s get you home- back to you.”
