Biz of the Szn: Resonant Spaces with Jennifer Glandt

In the lush woods of Wisconsin there is a magician. With her knowledge of relational energy and the effects of the settings around us, she wields the power to influence entire rooms; adaptation is her super power.

The magician’s name is Jennifer Glandt, and though she may not identify as one per say, there is no doubt she has harnessed an ancient magic and now uses her understanding to guide others toward peace, serenity and harmonious flow. The magic she uses is Feng Shui.

Have you ever looked around at your space -bedroom, kitchen, office- and felt so helpless at the clutter, layout or general vibe? You’ve seen enough of Marie Kondo to know something has to change but no matter what you do it never feels right. Shifting things for the sake of shifting things is not doing you well and you’ve given up.

“People are familiar with balancing their energy internally. And this is about balancing it in your environment.”

We all know the phrase “As within, so without.” So while you’re feeling all of the above, you also can’t get rid of this cough. Or your nights are spent tossing and turning to no avail. Or you’ve broken three wine glasses this week because they seem to just fly out of your hands.

These are all symptoms of bad Chi, or lack of energetic flow, in your home.

Resonant Spaces was founded out of a desire for balance. What began as a personal journey transformed into an alignment with a higher purpose: to collaborate with others and channel their dream reality into fruition with simple, powerful magic.

Jen is an intuitive connoisseur of the home. She isn’t just going to come in and throw away your crap- her work is collaborative, gentle and actionable. Whether you struggle with money, sex or health problems there is somewhere in your home that can be streamlined or improved to increase energy flow to this area of your life.

Jennifer will draw a map over your home, called the Bagua, that orientates the zones of your home. One corner represents family, one represents your job. Too much or too little in these corners can obstruct or flush away precious Chi and leave you feeling drained, overwhelmed, lost or unfulfilled.

“[View] your house as a 3D vision board.”

Jen’s work takes your top concerns and approaches them from an energetic lens. Judgement-free and wholly your own to take or leave, you can rest assured that by the end of it you will feel a change. And it’s little bits at a time, meaning no huge overhaul or identity crisis required.

Not only are we full-swing into the holiday season, but we are also hibernating for the winter- a natural slow-down for the year. As we spend more time in our homes, the Chi there matters more than ever. And with the powerful Gemini full moon tomorrow, there is even more emphasis on cleansing and opening yourself up to the possibilities.

The space you’re building your dreams in needs to match the frequency of the dreams themselves. As in, Feng Shui is so intimately wrapped with our ability to manifest that to ignore it is literally preventing your blessings from forming. You can manifest a boyfriend all you want but your southwest corner has literal cobwebs. You’re building a business but there are no water cures in the north corner of your home.

I knew a little about Feng Shui when I met Jennifer. She reached out for help with her website, resonantspaces.net. Not only were our phone calls full of giggles, but I learned so much about my life just talking about her business. As she explained the client process, and how she came to find Feng Shui and who her ideal clients were, I was able to reflect so deeply on my own environment, the work I was doing, and my business structure. And I felt so blessed to have been part of building a piece of hers.

While I think that every entrepren-woo-er could benefit from an office refresh with Jennifer, everyone has an area of their lives that they are working to improve, heal or better. And you don’t want to upheaval your entire family to do it. When you work with Jen, it really is working with her.

She offers in-person and virtual sessions, and throughout either you know she isn’t going to bulldoze in and throw your whole life away. Small, bite-sized changes for lasting effect is her forte. When you’re a busy mom or a business owner or simply don’t have the mental capacity for a complete life reset, that sounds pretty damn good.

In my newsletter two weeks ago, we talked about micro-actions: 1% sized steps you can take today that will add up over time. No, it's not a 30-day get-ripped-quick scheme, but it is brushing your teeth every day. It’s energetic hygiene, for anyone who’s alive and an adult. Dusting and rearranging a bookshelf in the darkest corner of your home isn’t scary- its setting the tone for what you want to invite in, and can be done in 15 minutes. If your environment is stagnant, your magic is too.

But it can be hard to know where to start. That's the clarity you get with Resonant Spaces. This isn’t a “done-for-you” magic wand; it’s a map and a compass towards a more peaceful home, a fuzz-free mind and a supported body.

“It is an ongoing process, so you can do it as much or as little as you want to just get started.”

And I can’t think of a better time! The stars are so supportive of this energy right now, and with the new year approaching, we all want to feel better about ourselves, our lives and our goals. When we start with our environment, we can settle into ease that ends up being the foundation for the inner work.

Your next chapter needs a clean and cleansed cauldron, and Jennifer has the spellwork to do it. If you’re feeling lost, overstimulated, understimulated, stagnant or hyperactive in any area of your life, consider how satisfied you are with your home. Look around and notice your space. If it feels like way too much, that's okay. Jen’s here to ‘shui with you.
