Visionseed Oracle Deck by Quincee Lark
There is something about art in recent society that has taken on extra reverence. Whether it's due to dying physical media or the rise of AI, real art made by real people is almost rare; appreciated in a way that perhaps hasn’t been for some time. Happening upon something truly beautiful and intentional is like finding a hundred dollar bill. It makes your entire day.
That’s what I felt when I received Visionseed by Quincee. We connected on my new favorite platform, Threads and I jumped at the opportunity to schedule a call with her, feeling the pull even through DM conversation.
Meeting Quincee, albeit virtually, was as warm and connective as coffee with an old friend and I knew a friendship was in bloom. By the end of the call, my order in to Visionseed was confirmed, and I eagerly watched my mailbox until it finally arrived.
Visionseed oracle deck is as somatic as it is delightful. It feels like a treat in your hands and in your body, being both a tool and a meditative practice. Every card’s art is reminiscent of brain waves or perhaps Windows Media Player soundwaves.
What I thought was unique and practical was that Visionseed didn’t follow toxic positivity “love and light vibes” with the cards. Each section (colored in association with each chakra) included misaligned emotions and sensations in addition to “positive” ones. As in, the root chakra didn't just feature stability and protection but also scarcity and stagnation. And it really makes the deck stand out to me because the somatics are honest. Working with this deck guarantees clarity because it isn't just telling you what to strive for- it’s pinpointing exactly what is happening in the body so that it can be acknowledged and honored rather than “fixed.”
I truly feel that not only would Visionseed do beautifully as a “daily pull” deck, but also supplementary with other decks for additional clarity and implementation. Say you did a tarot reading and needed a clear “what is the root of the issue?”; Visionseed delivers just that.
Diagnosing the root cause of an imbalance, outburst or misalignment is invaluable in the healing process, and Visionseed is one of the best tactile tools I’ve seen in a while. And I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this, but the cards are also beautiful.
They are designed in accordance with the seven chakras, starting with red for the root, all the way up to the highlighted crown. The guidebook that comes along with it breaks down each card into a deep dive of ritual, symbolism and somatic practice, along with asanas and plant medicine to supplement. Quincee truly thought of everything when she put this together, and I become more impressed every time I pick them up.
And if you are already in love with the deck, you’re going to love working with Quincee too. She mentors other creatives through the manifestation of their decks, and has a variety of offers on her site, including a cohort, workshops and her signature offer Tapped In.
If you are feeling the tingle of excitement, I urge you to order this deck yourself. For a limited time, using code “FIRESIGN” will get you 10% off your order and Visionseed will be on its way to you.
I chose to pull a final card for the closing statement of this blog, and I pulled “transcendence.”
The act of writing this blog- it being the first of many features I plan to do here- has been a practice in and of itself. Overcoming ego and tapping into my own higher wisdom when challenges arise is not a new concept, but one that has become a prominent detail as I grow my business. Trusting myself, my intuition and my gifts and showing up with them fully alight is a struggle some days. And putting it all out there on the internet for friends, family and strangers to read gets scarier as my audience grows. But I’m doing it anyway, reassured by the power that I’ve had in my hand my whole life.
Pulling this card tonight is a great reminder of who I am, and why I sought out the work that I did. Visionseed isn’t a magical “fix it”, but a gentle nudge back into the body. It reminds you of what it means to be human, in all the spectrum of who we are, and assures you that no matter how you show up it is real, valid and deserves recognition.
