Scorpio Szn: You Can’t Out-Manifest Your Own Bullshit

Get ready, kids. Scorpio doesn't play. Remember my Aries full moon post from a few weeks ago? Yeah we’re gonna keep up that “burn it all down” energy except this time we are going to dig through the ashes after.

Scorpio is a fixed water sign, which means that in addition to being incredibly stubborn, Scorpio also has deep, deep roots. The “water sign of water signs” urges you to travel as far as you can into dark, tight, damp and unsavory places for the sake of healing, removal and integration at a cellular level. Grab your candelabra or whatever and follow me into the night.

I can’t help but notice that every week since launching FSC Club Weekly the recurring theme has been around releasing, unhinging and stripping ourselves of things that we no longer want or need. This is super on-par with the archetype of autumn, but this week has some sting to it.

Scorpio is symbolized as a scorpion- big reach there, huh? According to my favorite totem reference book, Animal Speak by Ted Andrews, scorpions can mean “dynamic transformation through secret passions and desires.” Woo! Let’s unpack that.

Both Scorpio and scorpions symbolize darkness, sex and transformation. These things can be taken literally or figuratively, and depending on where you are in your life will determine which. In a literal sense, there could be special emphasis on your relationship with sex or death and how to better implement acceptance of taboo or scary forces in life. Figuratively, the power of creation and destruction can be beneficial things to study or meditate on.

Scorpio doesn’t fear rot- it knows that decomposition is a necessary force to breed new life, and you can’t have growth without the death of things unserving. If you’ve been feeling the need to release, tap into Scorpio’s energy and try to get comfy with feeling “gross.” If you need a boost, check out my shadow work blog from last week.

When the Sun in Scorpio locks eyes with Pluto on the 24th, we’re forced to face our shadows with no filter. If something’s been festering -a pattern, a person, a belief- this week it demands your attention. You can’t out-manifest your own bullshit. But this doesn't mean you need to cry by candlelight on your bedroom floor; just open yourself up what’s been taking up psychic space.

This Szn is giving “spiritual excavation”; the more you dig, the more treasure you find. If you care about specifics, some upcoming transits may help you stay out of trouble and aligned with your personal growth:

On October 25th, Mercury and Saturn share a little kiss and ask us to trust our gut when something feels off. Scorpio is heavily in tune with its own darkness and is hypervigilant to outside forces leaking in.

However, Mercury moves signs on the 29th, which means your mouth might get you in trouble. Scorpio intensity paired with Sag’s “act now, think later” attitude could mean rising tensions and potential bumps on the road. Take a beat before clapping back. Scorpions have stingers but it’s discernment that matters next week.

And as we know, Halloween on the 31st signifies the thinning of the veil between us and the spirit world. This is Scorpio’s night to thrive; when the veil thins and the unseen hums louder than ever.

Light your black and white candles, thank your ancestors, and protect your energy like it’s your password. Curiosity is cute until something answers back. When it does, trust in your guides, yourself, and what you’ve learned to be the beacon in the dark.
